A client engaged us to do several security scans prior to beginning their audit process.  Knowing there would likely be several items that come up during the audit, they primarily needed a "heads up" view of things likely to be discovered.  Once their Board of Directors had insight into potential liabilities the budget dream the Director had been asking for the past 2 years became a reality.

Being able to quickly address and button up some issues before the audit began greatly improved their initial findings - and having some projects underway helped some negative marks not be as consequential.  Ultimately, the organization had a lot of work to do on several fronts beyond our control - but in the realm of technology we quickly deployed several security projects to further shore up things.  The successive year's audit had significantly improved remarks and observations - and we had another happy customer victory.
